A quanto pare le riprese del nuovo film "La storia di Bonnie e Clyde" comincieranno la prossima settimana, come riportato da alcune fonti qui sotto:

While the majority of the film will be shot in Louisiana and Mississippi, Holly hopes to film some scenes in north Alabama. That goal will be made easier by the state Legislature’s recent passage of incentives for filmmakers, a cause Holly has championed since founding the Alabama Filmmakers Association in 1991.
Others signed to star in the film are Richard Tyson as Bob Alcorn; Rance Howard (father of Ron who recently appeared in “Frost/Nixon”) as Clyde’s father Henry Barrow; David Fralick as Big Ed Crowder; and Natalie Canerday as Mrs. Methvin.
Parts still to be cast include those of Blanche and Buck Barrow; Bonnie’s mother, Emma; Clyde’s mother, Cumie; and Ralph Fults. Holly is in negotiations with a popular young actor to play Fults but cannot make an announcement until he is signed, she said.
“Hopefully I’ll be making some announcements soon,” she said.
Holly is writer, producer and director of the film. She emphasizes that “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde” is not a remake of the 1967 film starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, but her own version of the story of the doomed couple.
She hopes to begin filming April 14 in St. Francisville, La., then move to Alexandria, Norwood and Jackson, La., she said, depending on actors’ schedules.

The latest issue of Production Weekly is reporting that Hilary Duff will star in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, a new film about the notorious gangster couple from director Tonya S. Holly.

Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were notorious outlaws, robbers, and criminals who traveled the Central United States during the Great Depression. Their exploits were known nationwide. They captured the attention of the American press and its readership during what is sometimes referred to as the “public enemy era” between 1931 and 1935.

Though the gang was notorious for their bank robberies, Barrow preferred to rob small stores or gas stations. The gang was believed to have killed at least nine police officers, among several other murders.

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway famously portrayed the two in the 1967 film directed by Arthur Penn. It won two Oscars, Best Supporting Actress for Estelle Parsons and Best Cinematography. Duff even recreated a scene from the film in an issue of Allure magazine, seen above.

According to PW, the cast for The Story of Bonnie and Clyde also includes Kevin Zegers, Natalie Canerday and Rance Howard.

Production is slated to begin in April.
