Secondo Hey-Hilary, è in arrivo un nuovo progetto musicale di Hilary insieme a Joe Bermudez. La nuova canzone avrà lo stile di David Guetta. Infatti, Joe Bermudez ha scritto in un'e-mail ad un fan di Hilary:
"Dovete solo essere pazienti. Ha tante cose da fare ora. Posterò presto una canzone inedita che abbiamo fatto insieme :)"

Hilary Duff: la musica non è più una priorità

RNBJunk - Nonostante alcuni mesi fa avesse dichiarato di essere intenzionata a ritornare in studio di registrazione per lavorare ad un nuovo album, ora Hilary Duff chiarisce la situazione affermando che per lei la musica non è più una priorità. In una recente intervista concessa a E News l’attrice ha affermato: “In questo momento la musica non è una priorità. Ora come ora è diventata di minore importanza per me. Mi sono presa una pausa per vivere la mia vita, sono sicura che farò ancora nuove canzoni ma non è mai stata una priorità”.

Pare invece che Hilary si stia concentrando sulla sua carriera televisiva, dove probabilmente la vedremo in veste di giudice nella versione americana di X Factor. Durante una chiacchierata con Ellen DeGeneres Hilay ha dichiarato: “Si, ne ho sentito parlare e ne sarei entusiasta. Tu magari (Ellen) potresti mettere una buona parola per me. E’ uno show molto bello e sarebbe divertente farne parte”.

Beh se il progetto andrà in porto sarà sicuramente un bel colpo per Hilary, basti pensare a quello che è successo a Cheryl Cole, giudice della versione inglese di X Factor…

In una recente intervista Hilary Duff ha parlato dei suoi nuovi progetti, sia in campo musicale che cinematografico. Ecco cos’ha dichiarato: “Voglio ancora cantare, voglio ancora andare in Tour, mi mancano le emozioni del palco. Sono ancora impegnata nel film che sto registrando quindi passesanno ancora alcuni mesi prima che inizi a lavorare sulla musica”.“I miei ultimi due dischi erano più dance, è stato divertente approcciare un nuovo genere. Non sò ancora cosa farò in futuro ma molte cose mi ispirano. Mi piace ancora la musica dance perchè è energica quindi forse rimarrò su quella linea”. Successivamente Hilary ha parlato dei suoi artisti preferiti e della musica che sta ascoltando in questo periodo: “Mi piacciono Lily Allen, The Killers, Janis Joplin, Jay-Z e Kelly Carkson, inoltre penso che Shakira sia una compositrice eccellente”. La cantante è ancche impegnata nel sociale e di recente ha partecipato all’campagna umanitaria “Blessings In A Backpack”, il cui scopo è quello di reperire fondi per aiutare i bambini e la scolarizzazione.

Hilary: “I’m not making a record right now.”

Hilary recently spilled on an interview that she has no current plans to record a new album.

While her music career is on hold, she’s keeping herself busy next month by working on two upcoming movies, specifically The Story of Bonnie & Clyde, as well as working on the fashion line, Femme, which comes out in September or October. With that, I’m definitely not surprised that she’s pausing her music career.

The Prophet, a reliable music source, says, “It looks like singer/actress Hilary Duff has taken a page out of Vanessa Hudgens’ book by announcing in a recent interview that she has no current plans to release any new music.”

“I’m not in a rush to get back into the studio,” reveals Hilary “I love music, but I have so many other things going on that I don’t wanna do it until it feels right.”

Although, Hilary confirms that she is indeed writing new songs, but she doesn’t plan on recording them soon.

“I get in a mood where I I’ll have an idea for song and I’ll write it down or say it into a little voice recorder, so I have the ideas and I think I’ll get the itch again soon but I’m not making a record right now.”

About how important music is to her:

“I don’t think I know how to even put [how important music is to me] into words.” gushed the speechless star “I listen to so much music throughout the day, it feeds your emotions. I wouldn’t be able to live without music. I love listening to new artists and hearing their lyrics, it’s such a creative process and it helps so many people.”

Fans Drive Interest In What Goes Up

"In less than 24 hours, even before the What Goes Up Movie Soundtrack by Amherst Records appears on the homepage of iTunes (May 5), the soundtrack has already gained traction. And, "Any Other Day" by Hilary Duff has moved up 41 places on her iTunes top song list (four places in the last hour).
The song isn't the only amazing feature to focus on. The growing fan support that is providing a foundation for the film and the soundtrack is nothing short of amazing too.

Any Other Day Second Preview & Soundtrack News

David Parker, co-producer of the What Goes Up Movie Soundtrack at Amherst Records, confirmed that the street date for the soundtrack will be the week of May 4. There will also be multiple release points such as iTunes and Amazon. The international release will follow immediately after.
"We know the actual shipping date will be next week," said Parker. "Our radio promo team is also working hard to make sure it receives play time on radio stations. It would be great if Hilary’s fans could start calling their favorite radio station and ask them to play “Any Other Day” by Hilary Duff, her brand new single from the What Goes Up soundtrack."
"Any Other Day" is an original single by Hilary Duff, which she wrote with Jonathan Glatzer and Robert Lawson. A :30 teaser of the opening was leaked on Monday, which prompted the producers and Parker to officially release another :30 seconds (above), after learning fans wanted to hear the teaser deeper into the song.
"The song came out great and was produced by one of the world’s top remixers, Richard Vission. I can’t wait to hear his remixes!"
Parker categorizes the soundtrack itself as what he thinks is one of the best compilations of artists to ever be released as it contains artists from the past, present and future. Why? Because they aren't just any artists.
In addition to "Any Other Day," the soundtrack features three never released songs by Innocent Bystanders, including “Kidz (Who Never Grew Up),” “Never Comin Back,” and “Teenage Moments.” Those songs accompany "Under Wraps," which was the band's breakout single in 2007.
"As with all things musical, the real excitement for me comes from being able to discover new young talent," Parker says. "And that is why I am so pleased that the director of the film, Jonathan Glatzer, and my co-producer, Tony Miranda, agreed that the song 'Under Wraps' by The Innocent Bystanders fit both thematically and musically in the movie. This song deserved much more attention."
The soundtrack also includes the UK's all-girl band Electrelane with four tracks — "You Make Me Weak At The Knees," "Cut And Run," "Two For Joy," and "Blue Straggler." Rounding out the mix is a 1999 digitally remastered version of David Bowie's hit "Heroes. "
Other artists include Roddy Bottum, Al Sgro & The Brendan Hines, Jeremy Wall, and Anthony "Tony" Miranda. Miranda is also one of the three executive producers associated with Three Kings, which produced the film.
Parker gave high marks to Miranda for his hard work and dedication. According to Parker, Miranda dazzled Amherst Records enough with “fills” for the soundtrack that the entire full length track was added to the CD.
"I think anyone who hears Tony's cut will be blown away," said Parker. " I mean it. Amherst Records has been presented with one of its most exciting projects ever thanks to everyone involved and thanks to Tony Miranda and James Hoke."
In total, there are 17 tracks from three labels — Amherst Records, EMI Records Ltd, and Too Pure Records Ltd.
"Can you imagine Hilary Duff and David Bowie on the same album?" asks Parker. "Then add in great artists like Electrelane; Jeremy Wall, who was a founding member of the pre-eminent jazz fusion group Spyro Gyra; and an entire score composed and recorded by Roddy Bottum from Faith No More."
The street date of the new soundtrack coincides with a special festival premiere of What Goes Up at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, May 8 at the 3rd Annual Buffalo Niagara Film Festival. The limited theatrical release of the film is scheduled for May, with the theatrical premiere and first run cities anticipated to be announced any day.
